FILMING YOUNG NANCY

I went to collect Amelia from school that day to film. I brought with me the dress that she'd need to wear along with other props. Luckily it was only a short 10-15 minute walk to our location. After Amelia got changed we set off. It was difficult to film at times as the ground was quite muddy and slippery from where it had been raining and snowing earlier and where other people had eroded the path by walking on it. I also had to stop filming at times due to the snow as it was not meant to be snowing in my opening title sequence, I had to stop filming again when walkers went past. This wasn't too much of a problem as the footpath was generally quiet.. I took several shots and tested other shots not on my storyboard whilst I was there to ensure I had enough material to work with during the editing process.
