FILMING TEEN NANCY

We made the trip by train to Lullingstone Stables to film both teen Nancy and Tye's scenes. It was freezing and we kept having to protect the camera from the snow using an umbrella which TJ (Tye) was originally scared of but then got used to (luckily!)

We filmed various shots after warming up the horse so he was capable of jumping. We also had to walk him off after filming to make sure he didn't get stiff.We had to get him in from the field in the morning, he was covered in mud so required grooming. I think that the horrible weather made it difficult to film as it was almost snowing/raining all day so we had to stop. Also Tj knocked down a few jumps, spooked several times/reared and bucked this meant we had to take several shots until Tj did it perfectly. This is the difficulty with working with animals.
